Reporting a bug?
To help us investigate quickly, please include the following in your email:
- Device model — e.g. Samsung Galaxy S23 or Google Pixel 8
- Android version — Settings → About phone
- ResizePing version — shown at the bottom of ResizePing’s own Settings screen
- What you were resizing to — e.g. a target file size (under 100 KB), exact dimensions, or a print size
- Description of the behavior — what you did, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened
Privacy reminder
ResizePing processes your photos entirely on your device, so we never see them. Please do not attach private images to a support email unless they are strictly necessary to describe the issue.
Quick answers
- How do I hit an exact file size, like under 100 KB?
- Choose Target size mode, type your limit (or tap a preset such as 100 KB or under 1 MB), and run. ResizePing searches image quality and, when a target is too tight for quality alone, steps the dimensions down too — so it reaches small targets that quality-only apps can't. If a size is genuinely impossible, you get the smallest honest result, never a fake one.
- What's the difference between size and dimensions?
- They are two separate jobs. Target size hits an exact file weight in KB or MB. Target dimensions set the pixels, a percentage, or a print size in mm, cm, or inch plus DPI. ResizePing keeps the two clearly apart so you always know which you are setting.
- Where are my resized photos saved?
- Resized images save to Pictures/ResizePing, or to a folder you choose. You can also share the result straight from the app after a job finishes. ResizePing writes new files and does not overwrite your originals.
- How many photos can I resize at once?
- Free lets you resize a single photo or a batch of up to five photos per run, with per-item progress you can cancel. ResizePing Pro unlocks unlimited batch.
- How do I buy or restore ResizePing Pro?
- ResizePing Pro is a one-time purchase — no subscription — handled by Google Play. To restore it on a new device or after reinstalling, sign in to the same Google account and open the Pro screen; your purchase is recognised automatically. All billing and refunds are handled by Google Play under its standard policies.
- Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
- No. All image processing happens 100% on your device and your photos are never uploaded. Photos are chosen through the Android Photo Picker (no storage permission), and GPS location is stripped from metadata by default.
- Is ResizePing available on iPhone or desktop?
- ResizePing is available for Android on Google Play today. An iPhone and iPad version is coming soon to the App Store. It is built for phones and tablets — there is no web version.
